Rotors in the aerospace industry
play a role in housing critical functions of most Jet
engines, whether land based or aerospace based. The
rotors we produce at Prompton Tool are most often
developed from bar stock, but due to pricing and
efficiency demands, we also provide the ability to
manufacture these items from castings. Most of our
rotors are manufactured to incredibly close tolerances
that sometimes can be as small as +/-.001. Our CNC
operators have extensive experience in manufacturing
these items and with our interconnected CAM system, it
is our intent to reproduce the highest quality on every
piece.
